Empowering Citizens to Combat Corruption and Promote Democracy Globally

Global Integrity Watch (GIW) is an international, citizen-driven organization focused on increasing transparency and accountability in public institutions, especially within developing democracies. Our work is rooted in the belief that corruption erodes trust, deepens inequality, and weakens democratic systems. To combat this, GIW empowers citizens—particularly those in the diaspora—with the tools, knowledge, and platforms needed to hold their governments accountable and demand integrity in public life. We recognize that diaspora communities hold immense power as informed, connected, and invested stakeholders in their countries of origin. By mobilizing these voices, GIW amplifies the call for ethical leadership, responsible governance, and equitable development. Our mission is to shine a light on corrupt practices, expose abuses of power, and support civic movements pushing for justice and reform. Through secure reporting systems, public awareness campaigns, policy advocacy, and partnerships with local watchdogs and journalists, we work to ensure that no act of corruption goes unchecked. We also provide legal and moral support to whistleblowers, journalists, and activists risking their lives to uphold the truth. At GIW, we believe that accountability is not optional—it is essential for justice, equality, and progress. Together, with engaged citizens at the center, we strive to build a future where public office is a place of service, not self-enrichment.
